Care reference
Dear customer,
congratulations to your new bavarian tracht! We hope you enjoy it. In the following, we will give you some information about the care of our products.
Please follow the care instructions on the label. If an item can be washed, please use a care detergent. Colourful pieces should be washed separately for the first time ; embroidered ones should be washed inside out, if possible in a laundry bag.
Leather
Leather is a product of nature so a deviation of structure and colour is a typical attribute. Dyed leather pieces (black, red,...) may bleed out while wearing it for the first time. So we recommend you to match it with similar colour pieces. A helpful hint: Please wipe the item with a damped towel from time to time.
Wet leather pieces should be dried on fresh air, not directly in the sun or near a heating. Water spottings that resist on suede leather should be eradicated with a soft towel or a soft leather brush; water spotting on nappa leather can be removed while wiping with your clean hand.
Our advice: there is a subitem in our category "Accessories" called "care products". There you can find the product "colour fixing for leather"! It fixes the colours and is, thus, very suitable for leather pieces that bleed out.
Jewellery
We recommend you to use an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning your jewellery.
Our advice (if you do not have an ultrasonic cleaner): just use a soft shampoo for cleaning. Foam it up in your hand and then clean the jewellery in your hands. Wash it up with clear warm water and dry it with a lintfree towel. Please dapple and do not rub.
Hooks and buttons
The buttons and hooks are fixed by a machine so it is possible that some strands are not that solid. Just sew them then again.
